About Us - The History...

21st century is the era of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and this technology was announced as one of most important part in developing our nation towards “Vision 2020”. Therefore, government has concerned that ICT as a benchmark of future development especially in achieving the status as developed country.Today, ICT becomes an essential tool for human kind in every lifestyle in providing unlimited or borderless information environment. Additionally, it drives towards social development and is a critical catalyst for economic activities. As a result, a "digital divides” will be decreased gradually or even rapidly.

As a subsidary to our parent company Opensource Business Solutions (M) Sdb Bhd we are proud to say that we practically promote community and public sector to use Open Source applications.OPENSOURCE Business Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd.(OSBS) was established in 2003 had started an Open Source Community Portal www.sumberterbuka.com, phpnukeA.org.kg in 1999 and online tutorial on open source applications, source-code and programs like Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP and others. Over the years, it has developed into a directories and information website that provide many information and services to the users. We are now venturing into web hosting services, with the aim to provide a reliable service to our customers at a considerably lower price, and competitive to what is already offered in Malaysia. From experiences of web services, we believe we could provide the same, if not better, standard of services.

OPENSOURCE Business Solutions has since grown to be a major provider of open technology and information services and solutions to the Government, the Education and Commercial sectors and that of SMI companies in the Malaysian business domain. Our data centre is located at Century Square, CyberJaya, the capital of Information Technology of Malaysia.

Focusing on Information Technology Solution and Business Transformation mainly in open source environment we pride ourselves of being able to deliver objective, consistent and actionable guidance and solution to our clients thereby enabling organizations to innovate more rapidly and effectively.
